Come meet a new neighbor business
And catch up on some good news
The Vermont Tortilla Company, a new business in town and one of the newest members of Shelburne Business and Professional Association, will host an SBPA Mixer on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The Tortilla Company, which is located at 6221 Shelburne Rd. in Shelburne Green, manufactures artisanal tortillas produced with local organic non-GMO corn. Naturally gluten free with no added preservatives, their only ingredients are corn, water, and food-grade lime. These amazing tortillas have an earthy, intense flavor of volcanic stone-ground corn steeped in mineral lime. The mixer will be a chance to learn about tortilla manufacturing, meet the owners of the newest business in town, and also chat with fellow members of the steadily growing SBPA.
SBPA President Tod Whitaker is also promising details of a new agreement SBPA has made with the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce, a relationship that will offer benefits to SBPA members, making membership in SBPA an increasingly valuable investment. A good time to join, or renew your membership.
