Everyone is  invited to an Open House at the office of  HomeShare Vermont on Wednesday, October 19th from 4-6 pm.  Come meet our staff, volunteers and board members and enjoy some Vermont cider, apple pie and cheese and celebrate homesharing!   The office is at 412 Farrell Street in South Burlington.  (Just behind Walgreens off of Shelburne Rd, next to Shaws.)  No need to RSVP, just drop by and say hello!  

HomeShare Vermont is a non-profit with nearly 35 years of experience matching up people looking for homes with people who have a home to share.  Homesharing is an old fashioned bartering arrangement.  Someone with a spare room in their home is matched with someone looking for an affordable place to live who offers help around the home--this might include cooking, companionship, yardwork or simply rental income and help with utilities.  Every match is unique based on the needs and wants of the participants!
