On Thursday, Oct. 24 at Burnham Library (in Colchester), the United Way of Chittenden County will be holding a free public social for prospective volunteers. The session will run from 3:30-4:30 pm. This will allow participants to explore the wide range of volunteer opportunities available, and to learn how easy it is to be engaged and to give back to help meet community needs. The Volunteer Connection partners with nonprofits in Colchester and over 250 nonprofits and over 350+ volunteer opportunities in Chittenden County.
