Let TURNmusic inspire your Halloween! The inspiration for our program comes from Randall Woolf’s 1997 collaboration with Maurice Sendak’s children’s classic, “Where the Wild Things Are.” The child universe is present through a highly imaginative world of sounds, the occasional use of danceable beats, simple melodies and heavily-treated voices appearing here and there.
We are also pleased to feature music by Brian Boyes of Cabot, VT. Well known for his Saturn People's Sound Collective, Big Bang Bhangra Brass Band, and viperHouse, TURNmusic has asked him to arrange “Aspect” and “Green Grey” for our program.
No trick or treating necessary as Laughing Moon Chocolates will once again be donating their fine treats!
