Curious about new segments of the Bristol Trail Network? Join us for a walk on Monday night 7/22 at 7:00 pm. Meet behind the Fire Station. (If you drive, please use the spaces marked for "Visitors" behind the station).

We're going to walk the .4 mile loop around the future business park and then walk down to the River Bend segment, exiting through the Coffin Factory loop at South Street (.8 mile). You can then either return the way we came back to the fire station, or walk back through the village on the sidewalk.

The first part, around the business park, is a super easy walk: clear path, zero elevation gain, nothing tricky. The second part, down around the bend of the river, is quite a bit more challenging with numerous ups and downs and some tricky footing. It is still possible in sneakers, though boots are better. I wouldn't characterize it as a difficult hike, but it is not an easy walk. It will probably take about an hour to get to South Street, depending on how fast we go and how much we chit chat.

You are welcome to join us for both sections, or you can do the first part (15 minutes) and skip the second, steeper more vigorous part. Either way, I'll be excited to have you join us to enjoy the beautiful woods right here in the village.
