Good Shepherd Lutheran Church – 273 Route 15 in Jericho
Our next food distribution takes place this Saturday, April 17th, at Good Shepard Lutheran Church on Route 15 in Jericho from 9 AM to 11 AM. To help with traffic flow, local families (Essex, Jericho, and Underhill) are invited to arrive at 9 AM, and families from other towns are invited to arrive starting at 10 AM. Newcomers are welcome to register on the spot.
We are distributing pre-packed bags of food staples, fresh produce, meat, cheese, eggs, cheese, and butter. We also have diapers and pet food in limited supplies. This a drive-thru distribution so all items will be placed in your vehicle by masked volunteers, and you can remain in your vehicle.
The EJU Food Shelf is grateful to all the local churches, individuals, businesses, and farmers who have donated time, produce, personal care items, money and non-perishable groceries to the food shelf.
We are one of over 200 network partners with the VT Foodbank. In recognition of increased economic hardship during the pandemic, the VT Foodbank can help with applications to 3 Squares, 3SNP (for those over 60 or with disabilities), and CSFP (Commodities Supplemental Food Program for those over 65).
