Valley Meade, Phoenix Records, and Mad River Distillers present the The Steepwater Band, live at Alfie's Wild Ride in Stowe on Sunday, May 19th.
The Steepwater Band is an independent, guitar-driven rock and rock band from Chicago. With nine albums, numerous singles, and a hectic coast-to-coast touring schedule, The Steepwater Band has amassed a rabid international following with their blistering live performances led by singer/guitarist Jeff Massey and drummer Joe Winters. The Windy City four-piece, also featuring lead guitarist Eric Saylor and bassist Joe Bishop, has shared the stage with ZZ Top, Government Mule, Wilco, The Drive-By Truckers, The North Mississippi All-Stars and Marc Ford to name but a few. The SWB has also had major television placements including Better Call Saul, Shameless, Deadliest Catch and Friday Night Lights.
