The second "Hey Neighbor" event will take place at the Rochester Fire House on April 21,2024 from 11 am to 2pm. New residents and "old" residents will have an opportunity to meet and get to know one another at this Open House event. Information regarding housing opportunities : ADU's (accessory dwelling units), home renovation, Homeshare , and possible funding opprotunities. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
We are inviting residents, businesses, and organizations to introduce themselves, share resources and opportunities to participate in our community.
Residents just need to come to the Open House. We are asking businesses and organizations to RSVP to the Rochester Town Clerk (assistanttownclerk@rochestervermont.org) by Wednesday April 12 so we can plan space at the Rochester Fire House. If a business or organization cannot attend, then please drop off any materials you would like included in the gift bags for new residents. Consider menus, volunteer opportunities, brochures , business cards, etc.
Service providers (carpenters, electricians, home maintenance, auto repair, wood, plowing, landscapers, painters, builders, etc) are asked to send their contact information to Dean Mendell at deanwmendell@gmail.com as he is compiling a list that will be put in the gift bags for newcomers.
