The Brookfield Emergency Management Shelter Group will be meeting this Thursday, February 29th, 2024, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. We will be meeting at the Brookfield Elementary School located on 1728 N Ridge Rd, Brookfield VT.
The purpose of these meetings is to be prepared to open one or more shelters to support the Tri-Town area (Brookfield, Braintree, and Randolph) in a disaster.
We will be going over next steps and possibly setting up a tentative date for a visit to Vermont Technical College (VTC) which is one of our shelter locations
We are always looking for more volunteers. We meet for 1 hour per month. This group is a great way we can help our community and neighbors. Please come join us. Richard Doolen, Brookfield Emergency Management Director
