The 100 Women Who Care – Franklin County chapter will be meeting on Wednesday February 7th at the Room at 14th Star Brewery at 5:30 for social time and from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. for its quarterly meeting to decide the recipient of our next charity donations. Our mission is to support local charitable organizations and since inception in February 2018, we have supported a total of 23 local charities totaling $87,000 in donations! Charities are nominated by members and one charity is chosen at each quarterly meeting. Each member donates $50/quarter for the organization selected by our members for a total donation of $200/yr. Our 4th Quarter 2023 charity selected by our members was the JMMY Center (Jimmy Messier Memorial Youth Center) in Georgia, Vermont! Join us on February 7th to meet some new people and to learn about what different organizations are doing to help our local communities.
