Morningside Bakery is seeking a full-time baker/food prep member to add to our awesome team. We are offering 30+ hours per week. Hours can go up and down with demand. We are seeking someone who can multi-task and someone who has previous experience in a bakery/cafe/restaurant atmosphere. We are seeking someone who has a passion for creating but is willing to learn our classics from our seasoned bakers to continue our customer favorites and wants to bring new delicious goodies to our existing list of offerings. Gluten-free/vegan experience would be a huge plus, detailed cookie and cake decorating would be even better. We need someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and is a self-motivator after training has been completed. We are looking for reliability, dedication, and someone who has the desire to stick around and become part of our family. We have a wonderful crew that's warm and friendly and we are looking to bring in the right person. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, likes to smile, and knows how to have fun with positive energy.
Weekly hours will be: Tuesday-Saturday 4:00 am-12:00 pm
Some job duties will include:
- Morning pastry bake-off
- Making sandwiches for the day
- Other food prep as needed i.e. soups, salads, sandwiches
- We also all pitch in to make everything run smoothly, those details include restocking, taking out garbage, washing dishes, etc.

Compensation is based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
