Happy Spring River Revelers!
The Barre City River Access Task Force will be participating in this year's Green Up Day by picking up trash along the banks of the Jail Branch on Saturday, May 4th. We'll be meeting at the parking lot on the inside corner of Boynton St & Batchelder/Ayers St at 8am.
We don't get in the River this time of year (we do that in the fall) as it can be deep, fast and cold, but instead will work on cleaning up along Boynton St and the opposite side of the Jail Branch along the banks of the Spaulding High School property.
We recommend bringing work gloves and tongs/grabbers if you've got them. We will provide Green Up Day trash bags as well as limited supplies of other miscellaneous supplies (disposable nitrile gloves & tick spray & hand sanitizer & sharps containers & first aid kit).
