This Saturday is Green Up Day!
Get your bags at the Town Office, Newfane Market, Williamsville Hall, the South Newfane Schoolhouse, and NewBrook Elementary. Please fill out the sign-up sheet so we know what areas are being covered.
Remember that you should never handle anything dangerous. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. It's best to be safe! Black flies are out, and the sun will hopefully be shining, and probably the occasional tick will wander across your path, so protect yourselves.
You can leave the trash bags alongside any road. The road crew will pick them up on Monday morning.
Feel free to support Leland and Grey's students, who are hosting a Green Up Day event to help VT break the Guinness Book of World Records for most pledges to pick up trash in 24 hours. They will have pledge forms (and free donuts and coffee) from 8-10 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 -1:30 p.m.
