Spring is here, and so is Green Up Day! It seems like Green Up week as we drive around Monkton, and see people busy picking up roadside trash and filling green bags already. You can pick up bags, gloves, and choose yourroute at Monkton Town Offices during regular business hours all week. On Friday afternoon from 1 pm until 5 pm, and on Saturday morning from 8 am until 1 pm, you can pick up bags, gloves, and a route at the Park and Ride kiosk on the Monkton Road next to the school. Please join your neighbors in making our community a clean place to live.

Filled green bags should be taken to the Town Garageon Saturday or Sunday, or during regular business hours during the week. The amazing Road Crew will deliver your bags to the Transfer Station in Middlebury so you don't have to! Please do not use regular trash bags; they will not count as free Green Up Day bags. We have only one week to get the bags to the Transfer Station, so please get them to the Town Garage quickly.
