Last night at our school board meeting, the board approved the revised budget and also the vote day which will be on May 7th.
Absentee ballots are available by request at this time. However, at this time it is not clear when they will be mailed to the whoever make that request. They will be mailed to the requesting parties as soon as they are ready. In the event that the absentee ballots are received untimely in a manner that does not provide for the mailing of the ballot to be received the day before the vote day, the following options are available to ensure that your vote is counted.
a) return the ballot to the Town Clerk's office the day before the vote day
b) go in person to vote and sign an affidavit attesting to the fact that you have not voted on your absentee ballot
Let's have a good voter turnout to vote on the revised school budget
