Stinging Nettles 101
Join us for a class all about Stinging Nettles!
We will meet at the herb shop and then travel to a local farm and harvest the fresh Stinging Nettle tops. We will bring them back to the shop and proceed to learn about all the many medicinal and culinary applications of this powerhouse!
We will make tea, put some into the dehydrator for future use, and prepare some Fresh Nettle Puree for the freezer that can be used in cooking or various herbal formulas.
Make sure to bring a pair of gloves, a basket or bucket to collect in if you want to bring some Nettles home for yourself.
$40 per person gets you as many Nettles as you can harvest and a chance to learn all about this incredible plant.
