The Vermont Fiddle Orchestra will present its end-of season concert next Saturday, 13 April, at the Barre Opera House.

Under the musical directorship of Peter Macfarlane of Addison, and featuring some musicians from our local region, the orchestra will offer a programme of tunes from various traditions, including Québecois, Irish, Scottish, Swedish, English, Old-Time and more.

The VFO is a community orchestra which focusses on traditional music. All who play fiddles, mandolins, cellos, flutes & whistles are welcome, and no audition is necessary - everybody can contribute at their own level of playing. Other instruments may also be included. The concert on 13 April starts at 7:00 p.m. and is free to the public. Donations are welcomed. We hope to see you there for a feast of traditional music.
