(Examining VUMS Youth Risk Behavior Survey Data)

Join us to discuss what's going on in our middle school community and what we can do to make it better. The Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) is an anonymous survey that current 8th graders took in February 2023 about things that young people go through in their lives (like drug and alcohol use, bullying, self-harm, participation in activities, etc.). On February 1st, a group of sixteen 7th and 8th graders analyzed our 2021 YRBS data including identifying areas of strength and concern for the young people in our school community. Some of these same students will facilitate a conversation about their work this coming Tuesday evening.
