This class is for students who have experienced six count east coast swing basics.
We will do a quick review of east coast swing and then move on to 8 count Lindy hop including swing outs, Charleston and more. We will concentrate on hand connection & posture.

David Rose has been teaching swing dance for over 15 years having taught at Middlebury and Saint Michael's colleges as well as the Waldorf schools and many of Vermont's town halls. He learned Lindy hop, Balboa & collegiate shag in San Francisco from some of the best teachers. He has attended over 20 Lindy exchanges throughout the USA and Europe
Swing dance experience helpful but not necessary. No Dance partner required. Masking is not required but encouraged. Bring clean, soft-soled shoes or wear thick socks. Register at vergennesrec.org
