I highly recommend seeing Bess O"Brien's new documentary "Just Getting By". It will be showing at the Town Hall Theater this Sat., March 30th, at 7 pm. Tickets are $17. Just call for tickets at 802 382 9222.
This film tells the stories of Vermonters who are struggling with food and housing insecurity.
I have seen her other documentaries "Hungry Heart" which is about prescription drug addiction through the world of a Vermont Pediatrician and "Coming Home" about those coming from Prison to Communities in Vermont. I learned alot from both these films.
