The Castleton Woman's Club meeting Wednesday, April 10th will feature stained glass artist, Karen Deets. Karen came to Vermont in 2010 to enjoy a lifestyle of making glass art mixed with year-round recreation in the mountains, lakes and woods. She translates what she sees and feels into stained glass art, capturing the feeling and details of the exquisite scenery all around her. Kiln fired painting and fusing are often included in her work. The meeting will be held at the Old Medical Chapel on the Vermont State University Castleton Campus starting with a 12:00 buffet lunch and 12:30 meeting. The program will begin at 1:00.
