This next Sunday the 25th will bring the ultra-talented Will Patton Ensemble to the Westford Music Series at 4pm at the Westford Common Hall. Will has been playing music since the age of 6, starting at piano and taking up guitar at age 12. Mandolin and bass soon followed, and he's been leading bands since he was 13. He studied at Middlebury College and discovered a deep connection with the rural landscape here. "Vermont called to me immediately as the place I wanted to call home...I love to travel and love to return to these Green Mountains." His travels have taken him to Rio, Paris, Caribbean as well as all over the U.S. and Canada playing rock and roll, folk, bluegrass, Brazilian music and jazz. His bands have opened for such notables as Earl Scruggs, Bonnie Raitt, Ray Charles, Van Morrison among others. Will shares the stage with the talented Dono Schabner, Steve Wienert, David Gusakov and Clyde Stats blending many musical genres into a seamless whole with this powerhouse combo of artist.
