The Town of Weybridge invites the Community to a local concerns meeting for a project to address slope failure along the Otter Creek adjacent to Quaker Village Road. The project involves work about 500 feet west of Oxbow Lane. The Town has hired the Addison County Regional Planning Commission to manage the project and Dubois & King to provide Engineering Design Services.

The Local Concerns Meeting offers the Community an opportunity to identify any issues associated with the project. Construction is not anticipated until at least 2026, but now is the time to ensure any concerns are addressed in the design.

A slope failure occurred in Winter of 2021. Since the time of the initial failure, additional erosion has occurred, encroaching on the roadway. The Town secured funding through the Vermont Agency of Transportation to address the issue.
