Join us at the Champlain Valley Skating Club Calcutta on February 17th at the St. John's Club in Burlington. It will run from 5:30 - 9:30. Your tax-deductible donation of $100 to purchase a ball will get you a Bove's dinner for two, the possibility to win door prizes (valued at $50 minimum), and the chance to win an estimated $1,000! A little Background on our Club:
The Champlain Valley Skating Club is a non-profit organization made up of both children and adult figure skaters throughout the area. We have skaters from Colchester, Essex, Milton, Burlington, Georgia, Stowe, and other towns. Our club has both a Children's Theater on Ice Program as well as an Adult's Theater on Ice program. Additionally, we have a high school figure skating team that travels and competes against other teams in the northeast. Our skaters spend countless hours in the rink training both individually and with coaches and all of this (ice time + individual coaching time) needs to be paid for by families. Just like everything else, the costs are on the rise and we are raising money to help keep figure skating affordable for our families .
