My garden soil sifters are made from repurposed spruce and pine. they have 3/8 mesh hardware cloth in the bottom. The legs are made from repurposed wood that I get from job sites and sometimes old furniture that I pick up that is at the end of it's service life with no hope of redemption but still has good wood in it too good to jst burn or discard. Being made of repurposed materials each one has light differences. The sizes are standard however. They all will be about 16"W x 28" long or tall as... read more ▼

Being made of repurposed materials each one has light differences. The sizes are standard however. They all will be about 16"W x 28" long or tall as you interpret it. They ship with the legs removed to cut down on the box size and shipping costs. All hardware for assembly is included. A short assembly video is provided here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zrI0p4tY40 Buy one for yourself or as a gift for some one else.

I made one for my mom to start because she's elderly and can't spend too much time on her knees pulling weeds and shaking the soil off of them one plant at a time. She uses the sifter to roughly pull up weeds and throw them in it. Then she can stand up and sift off the soil and have the weeds separated for composting and the soil is returned to the garden. I think you'll find these quite handy. they $49.00/each and you can order online from the link below and arrange for shipping or local pick up.

I've been out in the wood shop cleaning up, sharpening my hand planes and rebuilding one of my table saws, getting ready to start making some of my now famous 21st Century Blue Bird Houses and a few other spring like things for gardening and back yard wildlife to enjoy.
I'm also open and ready to go for any and all custom wood working projects you might have, be they a nice set of book shelves you've always wanted, maybe a one-of coffee table or end table you designed or dreamed of having one day or whatever else you might need.
Also, on a somewhat related note, I have wood shaving I need to get rid of from tme to time. Right now I have a couple of large bags of pine, white cedar and cherry mix. These are all right out off the planer and jointer or from hand planes, nothing off the floor so you don't have to worry about hardware.

For more information about me and what I can do for you tune in to my web site right here and look around. PEACE, John
