CVHS' mission is to protect and advocate for companion animals in need, work to build a humane community that promotes compassion, seek to strengthen the human-animal bond and exemplify the core values of respect for life by meeting or exceeding the best standards of practice for shelter care and operations. We are a vital safety net for people and pets. Our programs help people keep their pets, or if they can no longer care for them, we provide a safe place for their pets.
