'Palentine's Day' block printing craft social – Thursday 2/15, 5:30-8:00. We'll design and print an image (or words) onto fabric. Use your design as a patch, integrate it into a garment or accessory, further embellish with embroidery, etc. You can also bring something you want to print on like a t-shirt. Bag Making Workshop – Thursday 2/22, 5:30-8:00. In this class you'll be guided through all the steps of bag making with the versatile Compass Bag from Noodlehead Patterns. It's fully lined, with two exterior pockets, a zippered interior pocket, and an interior divided pocket. Skills developed: topstitching, installing zippers, applying rivets, and more. Registration and some advance preparation is required.
Introduction to Serger Sewing – Thursday 2/29, 5:30-7:30. Unlock the magic of serger sewing machines and learn to effortlessly sew knits with this introduction to sewing with serger/overlock machines. This class will guide you through the process of creating your own stylish hat or a pair of adorable baby/kid pants to help you gain confidence on this useful piece of sewing equipment. Ages 12+. Registration required.
