The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center (CSSC), a non-profit arts education organization, seeks a personable and motivated individual for a part-time (~10 hrs/week) marketing and graphic design team member. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare and update internal annual marketing calendar.
• Generate text/ content for promotional materials, press releases, calls to artists (exhibits, residencies, workshops), fundraising appeals, and other projects as needed.
• Manage website content along with administrative assistant.
• Design announcement cards, event posters, photo collages, and annual t-shirt graphic.
• Create presentations (PowerPoint) for Artist Talks as needed.
• Generate content for and layout weekly announcement in Constant Contact
• Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including text, image, and video content.
• Manage social media accounts and monitor online conversations to ensure brand reputation is maintained.
Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Shopify sites
• Aptitude with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
• Familiarity with Constant Contact
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Demonstrated ability to create content and manage social media (Facebook, Instagram)
• Ability to balance multiple projects with various deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Professional demeanor with ability to maintain confidentiality
