Dear Youth Families,

Burdett Commons will host a Columbus Day camp on Monday October 14, 2013 from 8 am – 4 pm. The cost of the camp is $10 for the day. This camp is available to Arlington, Sunderland, and Sandgate residents aged 7-14. Our day will include activities such as an arts and crafts project, science experiments, writing projects, theater games, and other fun activities.

We will go outside to play weather permitting so please dress your child accordingly. Children must bring their own snacks, drinks, and lunch. We have a refrigerator and microwave for your convenience.

It has been decided by the Burdett Commons board that on single vacation days that we will need 6 children to run the program. Our week long camps will require more children to attend. If we do not have 6 children for camp then camp will be cancelled and you will be notified a week in advance on Monday October 7th.

Please return that attached form and the fee of $10 by October 4th either through email, postal mail, or there is a mail slot at the Burdett Commons entrance of the community house. Please do not return the form to your school. If camp is cancelled you will be refunded the full amount.
