Ascutney Outdoors Rope Tow Work Weekend

Come join the fun and excitement of building the rope tow and preparing the surrounding area for the winter fun.
Saturday Nov. 28th and Sunday Nov. 29th at the Rope Tow area from 10am to 3pm !!!!
Fun things to do:
1) work on the rope tow
2) seed and mulch the rope tow line
3) collect the tower pads and attach to the towers
4) clean up the surrounding grounds for safety and appearance
5) clear trails
6) fencing
7) put protective pads etc. around obstacles in the trails
8) work on the Timing building (our warming hut)
Remaining items for Timing Hut/Warming in order of importance: 36x 80 RH swing ext door with glass and frame, 1/4 luan plywood for interior, 2 sheets Kraft Faced insulation for underneath floor, ceiling of basement (6” minimum), 4” pine trim (approximately 80 lineal ft), 2 gallons latex Kilz primer, 2 gallons eggshell wall paint, 1 gallon gray latex floor paint, Lumber for benches, coat hooks and shelves, Picnic table and bench seats for center of room, 36x 80 RH swing steel door for basement
Plus bring: work gloves, rakes, hand pruners, hand saws,etc.
Come join these exciting days with great friends for an amazing project. So that we all will have fun this winter.
We are also hoping some people will bring some yummy food for the volunteers.
