Hi neighbors! My name is Kristen M. Watson and I'm an artist and teacher living in Georgia.

I'm teaching a one day workshop just for beginners on painting and printmaking (called monotypes) on January 17 at Artists' Mediums in Williston, VT. Registration is now open, but spaces are limited so call today to sign up! 879-1236

Spend the afternoon learning the basics of monotype printmaking. Experiment with a variety of printing techniques including additive, subtractive, cut paper, and multi-pass printing. Play and get a little messy with traditional and non-traditional tools to create your own amazing, funky textures and beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints. Kristen will work with you individually, and there will be plenty of time devoted to personal exploration of your interests in a relaxed, supportive environment. You’ll take home a stack of unique and expressive pieces and access to a digital handout with the techniques & materials we covered, plus a list of resources for further exploration. Complete beginners encouraged! Great way for couples, parents, and teens to spend an afternoon together.
