Join us for a casual evening of art, create a small mosaic, and celebrate the Full Moon. Choose from a variety of base shapes we offer and a huge selection of Stained Glass Scrap.
This is a low pressure, fun night: no experience is needed.
We will use the Full Moon as our inspiration. The March moon has had many names that speak to the transition from Winter to Spring. Some refer to the appearance (or reappearance) of certain animals, such as;
The Worm Moon,
Eagle Moon, Goose Moon (Algonquin, Cree),
Crow Comes Back Moon (Northern Ojibwe),
The Sugar Moon (Ojibwe), and
The Wind Strong Moon (Pueblo)
This is a 2 part process. You can come in for a later scheduled grouting session, take a bag of grout home, or I will grout for you to pick up at a later date. We can arrange during class time.
Please wear closed toed shoes. 16+ or younger with an adult.
Music, materials and all instruction will be provided. To learn mosaics in more detail see our class schedule for more in-depth mosaic workshops.
