Please join the Lake Champlain Basin Program to kick off our 20th year of Love the Lake talks. Declan McCabe, an aquatic ecologist and biologist from St. Michael's College will share highlights from his recent publication: Turning Stones - Discovering the Life of Water. Declan spends countless hours along the tributaries and main stem of the Winooski River. Through a series of short essays Declan will lead the audience on an amazing exploration of the rich diversity of life that depends on the river. Having worked for decades with students and teachers alike, he explores ways to preserve clean water for the next generation in a light and engaging manner.
