First hour, discussion of city and school issues with Councilors, School Commissioners, and people serving on Boards and Commissions.
Main program is the options for Farrington Park, and an opportunity for community to support residents there who have a lot of anxiety and home insecurity during the holidays. Details: http://wards4and7npa.blogspot.com/
We will also be brainstorming about how the North End wants to celebrate Burlington's 150 birthday (?). The first settler in Burlington built a cabin on "Appletree Point" which used to encompass all the land from the high school to the mouth of the winooski River, and the lake to the Winooski River through the Intervale. A perennial spring at the head of Appletree Point Stream, near the bike path, is the likely spot. Details: http://appletreepointfarm2.blogspot.com/
