Calling all genre film fans!

My name is Eric Hauter, and I'm the co-host of the Chronologically and All Things Being Sequel film podcasts. I'm teaming up with Catamount Arts to kick off a new horror film series, offering free screenings at the fantastic Catamount Arts screening rooms twice a month.

We will be showing a specially selected lineup of films, featuring timeless horror classics, recent independent hits, and little-seen foreign gems. Whether you are a horror fan, or you've always wondered about the appeal of scary movies, join us to watch some of the very best films the genre has to offer the way they were meant to be seen – with a fun crowd and a bucket of popcorn.

We're kicking off the series with Late Night With the Devil, a recent hit that has been featured on numerous "Top Ten of 2024" lists. Late Night With the Devil depicts a 1977 Halloween late night talk show episode where the host gets more than he bargains for when he attempts to bring the supernatural to a live TV audience in a bid for higher ratings. The film is rated 97% "Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes and features an award-winning performance by David Dastmalchian.

Late Night With the Devil will screen in 4K on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Catamount Arts Center, 115 Eastern Avenue, St. Johnsbury.
