It's getting close! The Annual Friends of North Hero Library Plant Sale is on Sunday, May 19, from 9:00 AM to Noon. Mark your calendars and come find old favorites and new splendor for your gardens. We will have loads of lovely greenhouse annuals including flowers, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, as well as hanging baskets and perennials! Plus, there will be perennials and other plants donated by your gardening neighbors - always the hit of the sale. We even have some heirloom tomato plants donated this year!
For those of you planning to donate plants, this is the week to start bringing your donated plants to the Library - just leave them behind the Library. There are extra pots available behind the Library, too. Please MARK your plants, indicating what the plant is and what color the bloom is, if it is a flowering plant. If you're not sure, indicate what you do know and our Master Gardeners will try to identify it. If possible, have your plants at the Library by Friday evening, May 17, so we can sort, price and move them on Saturday. Yes, we will welcome last minute donations after that if you can not get them there by Friday. We love your donations and can't wait to see what you bring us this year.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Plant Sale! Remember, it is at the Community Hall/Town Office.
