This coming Saturday, October 11th, at 7 p.m., the Black River Folk & Blues Fest will once again be held in the beautiful renovated Ludlow Town Hall Auditorium. With a lineup of three superb musical acts in the folk and blues genres, the event is promising to be a repeat of last year's highly popular, "standing room only" music fest. This year's performers include Appalachian/country players "The Meadows Brothers," Boston-based "Singer/Songwriter of the Year" Sarah Blacker, and Montpelier-based bluesman Dave Keller and his band. Tickets are a mere $15 and are available online at www.FOLA.US, or in advance at the People's United Bank in Ludlow, the Book Nook on Main St., or the Wine & Cheese Depot on Depot Street.
