This is a reminder the Selectboard meeting this coming Monday will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Street Fire Station. The lot at 51 South Main Street is available for public parking.

The agenda devotes significant time to the proposed homeless shelter at the armory.

Chris Winters, Commissioner for the Department for Children and Families, will be in attendance to answer your questions and concerns. He will be joined by Miranda Gray, Deputy Commissioner for Economic Services, and Lily Sojourner, who is the Interim Director of the Office of Economic Services.

Earlier this week I had sent Commissioner Winters a letter that (I hope) outlines the range of community concerns and questions related to the proposal. That letter can be viewed on the town website here:

At the last meeting we had some technology challenges. Our zoom account was limited to 199 users, and that has since been upgraded to accommodate 500 users. We have also installed a new modem, and are working on options to help ensure people watching the meeting via zoom have better audio. However, I want to note that we do not have an advanced sound system and our bandwidth is not unlimited, so the best way to ensure your voice is heard is by attending in person.
