Back to School Sunday 2013 was so much fun, we're doing it again! Back to School Sunday is a fundraiser to benefit the Cavendish Elementary PTO Activity Fund. Cavendish Baptist Church will donate $5 to the Cavendish Elementary PTO Activity Fund for each person who comes to Back to School Sunday. The fund is used for special educational events and field trips. Everyone is welcome – even if you don't usually go to church. The more people who attend, the more we'll donate!

There will be free activities for kids and a free cookout. Back to School Sunday is a gift to our community, so there is no cost to attend and no collection will be taken that morning.

However, if you'd like to make your own donation to the PTO Activity Fund, we've got some fun in mind. The Cavendish Fire Department has generously lent us their dunk tank and we're going to play “Sink the Sermonater!” For a donation of two dollars, you get a chance to try and hit the target and sink Pastor Abe in the dunk tank.
