Celebrate July 4 a Day Early at Old Stone House Museum

The Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village is celebrating our nation's Independence Day with a complimentary viewing of our newest exhibit, In a Different Hue: Race & Representation, and an invitation to participate in a community art project. Join us Sunday, July 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There will be free H.P. Hood Ice Cream being scooped, field games for children, and samples of Jasper Hill Farm cheeses to enjoy (while supplies last).

Interested in Abenaki culture and history? Join the Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village for its first talk of 2022 with Vera Longtoe Sheehan, Executive Director of the Vermont Abenaki Artists Association and founder of the Abenaki Arts and Education Center. This event will take place Sunday, July 17 3:30 PM at the Brownington Congregational Church at the intersection of Hinman Settler Road and Old Stone House Road.
