Roll Your Groceries Home!
Have you thought about taking a walk and getting your groceries in a single trip?
Walk to Shop, a project that encourages more people to walk more often, will be demonstrating a spiffy, sturdy and lightweight trolley tomorrow, Tuesday July 20th from 3PM to 6PM at The Old North End Farmers Market on Spring St, across from H.O. Wheeler School
Take the Rolser trolley for "a test drive" -- if you like it, you can buy one on the spot! They are available to you for only $35.00! (Retail is normally $80). See how easily it carries up to 40 pounds of items with little effort. It rolls along smoothly and is much easier than carrying heavy bags of groceries home.
Fun facts: Did you know that most people in the Old North End of Burlington live within 1500 steps from their favorite markets, shops and services? That's about a 15-minute walk. Everyone could walk more! Enjoy the many benefits that Walk to Shop offers.
You can also use the trolley for all sorts of tasks: getting laundry to the laundromat, going to the beach for a picnic and more!
