This Saturday, Albany volunteers will again share "heat and serve meals" courtesy of the statewide "Everyone Eats! VT" program.
Until the end of December, Everyone Eats meals will continue to happen simultaneously with our weekly Albany Neighbors food share; the program ends at the end of 2020. We are looking for ways to return to serving a monthly community meal.
As always, everyone is welcome, but we ask that you please sign up to reserve a meal.
This week's meal is being prepared by Caja Madera And the menu is Brisket and chicken tacos, Pinto beans, and Lime and cumin coleslaw
Sign up for delivery to your home or come pick it up this Saturday, December 12th, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM at the Albany Town Hall. If you need delivery to your home, say so on the form, and we will bring it to you.

Albany Neighbors Task Force (ANTF) runs the share, and we usually have eggs, dairy, produce, bread, meat, dry goods, and canned goods available for pick up or delivery.
Ending at the end of this month, "Everyone Eats" initiative has been paying local restaurants to provide meals to community-based food shares like ours; supporting local restaurants, stores, caterers, farms, and food producers while helping you put food on the table. Our regular weekly food share will continue as usual and we hope to return to providing monthly heat and serve meals in the New Year.
Enter through the town hall's front door, wear a face mask, and keep a 6-foot distance. Free, handmade, layered pocket face masks are available at the food share or the Albany Little Free Libraries thanks to a local teenager's homeschool project.
