Labor of Love Fireworks Fundraiser Spectacular—For the Love of Kids, Country, Freedom…and Fireworks!

Drive-in professional-grade pyro-musical fireworks extravaganza like no other ever performed in Vermont — September 5th, 2020.

In light of the many cancellations of municipal July 4th fireworks due to Covid-19, Green Mountain Fireworks is producing a professional-grade pyro-musical fireworks show to raise money for the Alburgh Family Clubhouse, a non-profit startup that will provide desperately needed childcare and after school programs to Alburgh and the surrounding areas.

The drive-in show includes multiple set pieces and aerial fireworks ranging in height from 100' - 1,000'. The maximum width of the effects is about 1,000', and the maximum depth will be around 500'. The total number of effects is well over 5,000. The show comprises two acts (totaling about 20 minutes), and features remarkable color, style, and timing to a special musical score appealing to folks of all ages. Music will be broadcast locally via FM transmitter so that the corresponding audio can be heard on car radio.

The drive-in show is on Saturday, September 5th, at 8:00pm (gates open at 7), and the show will also be live-streamed via https://www.facebook.com/greenmountainfireworks/

Tickets are $100 per vehicle, and can be purchased here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/115196138752
The first $10,000 raised goes towards the construction of the Alburgh Family Clubhouse (AFC)—a much needed child care and parenting resource center to be built on the grounds of the Alburgh K-8 school. (Funds raised over $10k will be split 50/50, between the AFC and Green Mountain Fireworks, to help offset the show's wholesale costs.)

About Alburgh Family Clubhouse
The Alburgh Family Clubhouse is a 501(c)3 nonprofit run by a volunteer board of community members, and will function as a child care and parenting resource center, hopefully by the end of 2021. The Clubhouse will be built on the grounds of the Alburgh K-8 school (Alburgh Community Education Center) and will provide high quality affordable child care and preschool for about 40 children ages 0-5. The child care center will be owned by the School District, and operated by a child care provider managed by the Alburgh Family Clubhouse. The public preschool housed in the Center will be managed by the School District. The planning phase is well underway and when funding is secured, construction will begin in the Spring of 2021.
