FINISH THAT SEAM

You put the time and energy into a project. Why shouldn't the inside of your project look as nice as the outside? Curtains, pillow cases/covers, and garments will all benefit from well finished seams. These give a professional quality to your work. Machine over edge, bias bound, net bound, Hong Kong French seam, and flat felt seam are a few that will be demonstrated for you to practice. You will leave with samples of each seam finish to keep for future reference.

Bring your machine. 6” X 6” fabric scraps of various weights and types, bias tape (if you have it), sewing supplies (needles, thread, scissors, extra bobbins.)

Location: Baker Hill House, Greensboro. (directions when you register.)

Class size will be limited to five for individual assistance. Register early.
