CAR Ski/Ride/Skate Swap Nov. 23rd & 24th - Tips To Help You Sell Your Items!

For those planning to sell equipment and or clothing at the CAR Ski/Ride Swap:
Drop off is Friday night - Nov 22nd- 6 to 8pm.
Pick up - Sunday - Nov 24th at noon.
Here a few tips to help you sell your equipment and clothing:
Children's and tween equipment and clothing sell well. Please make sure it is in good repair and the bindings can pass a shop safety test.
Adult skis and boards priced $275 plus or minus is a good selling point for most Ski/Ride shoppers.
Price it right, bargain hunters come to these, so you may think your equipment is worth x - however a good rule of thumb is ask yourself - how much would you pay when you came to a sale looking for a good deal?
Also keep in mind most shop lease packages - ski or board and boots start at $99.

The 6th annual Cambridge Area Rotary Ski/Ride/Skate Sale

Saturday November 23rd 8am-4pm
Sunday November 24th 10am-noon

This Cambridge Area Rotary FUNDraiser is for the Winter Wellness Days at Smuggs and the Community Skating Rink. Over the past 5 years, CAR has worked with Backcountry Magazine, and their annual Barn Bash.
Both groups have been able to raise funds for Winter Wellness Days at Smugglers Notch for all CES 4th - 6th graders. These fun filled days include a snow sport lesson, lift ticket, and equipment rentals - at no cost to the students!
Come on down even if you are not a big snow sport participant or looking to upgrade your hardware, for there will be loads of soft goods on hand too! There will be a full inventory of reasonably priced gloves, mittens, winter coats, and pants etc to choose from too!
