Dear Neighbors,
It's hard to believe it was a year ago that we inaugurated a new Administration in the White House and began to ramp up our national vaccine rollout. This is an important time to pause and thank our frontline workers, and to think of families with young children and immunocompromised Vermonters who we cannot leave behind in the ongoing pandemic. Please continue to mask in indoor settings, follow the advice of medical professionals and the CDC, and treat each other with compassion and kindness.
As we wrap up our first few weeks in the 2022 legislative session, my Senate colleagues and I want to take the opportunity to hear from you.
We will be hosting office hours this Tuesday, January 25 at 6:00 PM on Zoom to share updates and give you the chance to weigh on issues of importance in our community. I will be joined by Senators Ginny Lyons, Michael Sirotkin, Chris Pearson, and Thomas Chittenden, and we will extend the invitation to our House colleagues, as well.
We want to use this time to hear from you and answer your questions around our work this session, from pandemic recovery to housing and homeownership to redistricting to climate change. This is a great opportunity to provide us with feedback and share your thoughts on the session thus far, and what you would like us to see prioritizing moving forward.
