The American Legion Auxiliary 14 in Vergennes will be hosting a Trunk or Treat, and Costume Dance Party! The Costume Karaoke Dance party begins with DJ Amanda Rock and Family at 1:00PM Sunday, October 27th and ends at 2:00PM. It will be followed by Trunk or Treat in the parking lot from 2:00PM-3:00PM. Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative to Trick or Treating and is done in a roped off area of the parking lot of the American Legion Post #14 in Vergennes at 100 Armory Lane. Parents and community members will register to bring their cars and goodies to distribute from their decorated trunk. Kids will be lead to the parking area and will begin going car to car for treats. This is great for people who live out of town and don't get trick or treaters, and for anyone with ambulatory issues. It is also great way to promote your business, civic organization, or church. It is done in the daylight and children will be home before dark. All vehicles must arrive ½ hour before the trick or treating. You are responsible for your own candy or treats.
