Reach for the Stars Golf Tournament Saturday, June 15, 2019 Shotgun start 9:30am Cedar Knoll Country Club

This will be the 9th year of the tournament, held to raise money for the Reach for the Stars Scholarship, established in 2006, after Ray Pellegrini's sudden death. He was a teacher, principal, superintendent, and finally, the Executive Director of the Vermont Principals Association. The scholarships, 23 of them so far, have been awarded to students who have been the first in their family to attend college. The $1,500 grant is provided to students enrolled in their sophomore year of college, and recipients are selected based on high school involvement, need, and commitment to the larger community. Ray was a lousy golfer ("Why get 1 par, when you can get 2?"), but coached, advocated for, and celebrated the achievements of every individual. Come celebrate with us as we play, laugh, and remember.
