This Sunday St. Ambrose is hosting a Free Community meal beginning at 5pm in the Parish Hall. At 5:45 we'll be joined by a representative from ACSWMD for a composting workshop!

Want to start composting at home? Got "compost" that's actually a stinky pile of rotting food attracting wildlife? Join ACSWMD for a free, one hour composting workshop to learn how easy it is to turn your household food waste into rich compost-no smells attached! You paid for your apple cores and potato peels, so don't throw them away! Composting will allow you to save money on your trash bill, build healthy soil, reduce your carbon footprint, and comply with Vermont's Universal Recycling Law, which bans food scraps from the landfill in July 2020.
