Science Pub Talk - the Function of Sleep

Past event
Feb 3, 2019, 4 PM

Why must we spend roughly 1/3 of our lives asleep? What is the brain doing during all of this "down" time? As part of the Friends of Castleton Library's Annual Science Pub series, I will present a brief lecture (30-45min) on the function of sleep including the latest findings from my lab at Middlebury College. There will be ample time for discussion and drinks too! This event will take place at 4pm this Sunday (Feb. 3rd) at the Brandon Inn.
